Is it possible to be kurzick on one character, and luxon on another?

No.

Faction is account based.

It isn't hard to change from Kurzik to Luxon tho, just have more faction on the side you want to be than the other.

Ok, thanks for the quick ansver, but does that mean that I can get armour from both sides?

You can eventually have anything from both sides (missions/jade/amber/armor/ect.) it just involves picking one side to start with, clearing it, then switching to the other side. I originally chose luxon (for the sexy 15k monk armor) and I recently unlocked all the towns and missions so I have started working on the kurzick side.

Note: If you decide to switch, either donate your existing factions to your guild or trade them in for amber jade/amber before you switch, becuase when you exchange them for either material you loose 1000 factions from both sides which has managed to messed people up when switching sides.

Is it true that if your Guild is Luxon and you have Kurzick Faction it effects the guilds rating in alliance? My guild leader has been spamming about it as my mate wants to go Kurzick for the 15k
